The MAKO CARVE is available in 3 sizes: 152, 172 & 176.
This tail is designed for a SURF FOIL and WINGFOIL practice in a
CARVING and PUMPING perspective.
This stab provides great maneuverability while guaranteeing stability and consistency in your turns.
Its linear power does not generate over-immersion and allows you to focus on your trajectory.
152: 32.5 cm wingspan
172: 34 cm wingspan
176 : 36 cm wingspan
172 & 176 are close in surface. However, the 176 has a slightly more homogeneous distribution with more surface at the ends (proportionally), it will be preferred VS the 172 if you are primarily looking for low end speed abilities. If you prefer maneuverability, choose the 172.
Kparts stabilizers have a flat area on both sides allowing it to be mounted above the fuselage (AXIS, FONE, CABRINHA etc) and below (TAKUMA, AFS, ARMSTRONG etc). The rear hole is oblong to allow a fixing center distance of 30 to 35mm depending on the foil brand.
The shims set chosen allows you to adapt all KPARTS stabilizers to your foil by adjusting the angle according to your needs.
Each tail comes with a cover, a set of shims that matches your foil (choose from the drop-down menu), 2 screws of greater length.
